Requirement : 1

Role: Build Out DevOps Support Engineer – 2
Division: IC-BO-DevOps SE 2
1. Validate /troubleshoot network and hardware
2. Build clusters in cloud environment
3. Deployment of cluster and special components
1. Network and hardware validations and identify misconfigurations in cloud infrastructure
2. Deploy the cloud core components
3. Certify the cloud infrastructure for on boarding customers
4. Follow up with vendors for any misconfigurations or bad hardware
5. Troubleshoot and escalate issues to component teams
6. Debugging PHP / Python / Shell / Perl scripts
7. Identify the issues with automation scripts/tools and engage feature teams for further enhancements
1. Identify manual work for automations
2. Track down the issues for their root cause that arise and drive them towards resolution
3. Update knowledge base with troubleshooting guides and lessons learned
4. Define TSG for new issues and follow up with feature teams for approvals
1 2-4 years of experience in building and managing high volume web services
2. Certification in CCNA
3. Working knowledge of Cisco, FlatDHCP, multi-host networking
4. Good knowledge of server installation/upgrade/patching, deployments and system/server administration
5. Networking concepts with an understanding of the OSI Model, DNS, WINS, TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, Routing, ACLs, and switching
6. Knowledge on LAN,WAN setup and Concepts of Sub netting
7. Supporting, maintaining and validating new server & related hardware in remote datacenters
1. Bachelor degree in technology
2. Flexible to work on 24 X 7 Support model
3. Working knowledge of PHP / Python / Shell / Perl scripts
4. Working knowledge of Chef and Puppet
5. Working knowledge of RHEL
6. Co-ordination with external and internal teams to finding out resolutions to the blockers
7. Accountable for operational performance including real-time SLA management, escalation, and communication
8. Documenting troubleshooting and problem resolution steps along with Root case Analysis
9. Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
10. Adherence to process (ITIL) and Incident management process
